Mantra

I took a walk in the snow this morning. Crisp and sunny.

Without thinking a mantra that has been on repeat started up again.

I am worth knowing
I am worth loving
I am worth being in this world

I have been reflecting on this for the last 3 days.

So often the repetitive lines of the negative variety are spoken over and over without much awareness on my part.

This accidental mindfulness practice has been so interesting. Maybe if I pay more attention to the loving lines on repeat the scales will even out or even tip in favor of a more loving dialog in my head.

What can it hurt?
