Give your child a mindful, empowering start in archery.
This class is designed especially for kids (ages 8 - 18) who are new to archery and eager to learn in a fun, supportive environment. Each session is one hour long and focuses on introducing the basics of archery through mindfulness, curiosity, and empowerment.
What makes these lessons different is that they’re not just about hitting the target — they’re about learning to focus, breathe, and connect to your own strength and awareness in the process.
During each class, kids will:
Learn range safety and proper shooting technique
Practice the fundamentals of archery with hands-on guidance
Explore simple mindfulness skills like breath awareness and presence
Build confidence, focus, and a sense of calm through repetition and mindful movement
Have fun, feel proud of their progress, and learn in community with others
Details:
$45 per child, per session
One-hour group class
Maximum of 10 children per class
All equipment provided
Sunday sessions during the school year; weekday options open in summer
Located in the Portland area
Once you purchase a class spot, I’ll email you to confirm and choose dates that work best for your family’s schedule.
Hot drinks are offered in the colder months and sparkling water in the warmer ones and snacks all year round. A small touch to help everyone feel comfortable and cared for while we learn together.
If you organize a group of 10 kids who’d like to learn together, I offer a 10% group discount as a thank-you for building community around mindful archery.
Want to experience mindful archery yourself?
Parents often tell me they wish they could join in! I offer family and adult sessions as well for anyone curious to deepen their own connection to mindfulness, focus, and the joy of archery.
