Queer Somatic Full Moon Archery

Sale Price:$60.00 Original Price:$80.00

I’m celebrating the July full moon with a Queer+ Somatic Archery Experience and Hike! Part A: We will meet at the archery range and take a short hike from 7 - 7:30 pm and end back at the range. Part B: From 7:30 - 9 pm we will practice somatic archery. Sunset will be around 9 pm, and the moonrise should occur just before sunset. The full moon represents a time of heightened clarity and awareness. As the moon reaches its fullest illumination, it creates a natural opportunity to see things more clearly and find balance. This phase offers an ideal moment to recognize and release what no longer serves us. In this workshop, we'll combine the precision of archery with effective somatic release techniques designed to address accumulated body tension.

Payment Structure: The workshop costs $60 per person.

{I operate on a "pay-what-you-can" model to keep this accessible to everyone: If you can afford $60 or more: Please pay the full amount (or a bit extra if you're able - this helps offset costs for others) If $60 is a stretch: Anything helps my small business, $60, $30, $15, or something else entirely, you belong here.} Email me to get a sliding scale option.

What makes this possible: When some folks can pay a bit more, it allows others to pay less or attend freely. It's community care in action, and I find it creates such great energy when we all support each other this way. Be sure to bring some water or other hydrating beverage for use during the archery and hike, as well as weather appropriate clothing and comfortable hiking shoes. There are accessible toilets and parking right in front of the range.

There are buses that go to the Rose Garden, and a shuttle that drops off right in front of the Archery Range. The shuttle stops running at 7 pm. I recommend carpooling with your friends.

I respectfully acknowledge that my work takes place on the traditional lands of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and other Indigenous peoples who have been stewards of this region for millennia.

As I guide others in connecting with nature, I honor the enduring relationship between these lands and the Native communities who have lived here since time immemorial. I say thank you with everything I do.
