I am at peace... I am sometimes but more than I would like to admit I’m at anxiety or self-doubt or self-loathing. But that’s what a mantra is right? Something that we want for ourselves. That’s why we say it over and over. I want to be a peace with myself. I want the self-doubt, self-loathing, and anxieties to dissipate in a peace that is constant. I am aware that pain is part of living and the peace that I want isn’t the absence of pain. I think that mantras are about making a verbal partnership with ourselves that good can come from everything. And we can be our own advocate instead of our own enemy. Angie🏹
